Cologne Telugu Vedika, established in 2017 in Cologne, Germany. The association is formed with enthusiastic members who want to create active community environment and help Telugu speaking people of Cologne to advance their intercultural understanding. The association is committed to work with other Indian associations to strengthen the Cultural and Social Bridge between Indian and German institutions. The association will constantly look for opportunities to be part of local community development programs, to contribute. Cologne Telugu Vedika is the first registered Telugu Association from Cologne, working very closely with Consulate General of India-Frankfurt on different issues, related to Indians living here.
This initiative is to build a Stage (Vedika) for all Telugu & other Indian communities, to get together to celebrate Indian festivals and pass on the great culture and values to the next generations with which our glory and respect stay further appreciable in the German community. We would facilitate the transfer of skills in Arts, Language & Sports through this organization.
Finally yet importantly, we intend to use this Stage (Vedika) to get involved in community development programs and be 'caring & sharing'.
